I'd already noticed that, but others may not have ... thanks for pointing it out. The only gripes I had are losing the timer in the clock app (I found an app in Google Play) and losing the alarm's ability to increase the volume (I just turned up the volume 
). Most other changes I either like or can live with. I'm like you, I was glad to see some of the junk gone.
It's nice when the Junk is Gone from the Trunk!
