Just wanted to state that I researched the net a good while before I ordered the Droid X.
I was a bit nervous with all the issues out there. Especially, I was concerned about voice reception since I live in a rural area.
I am happy to report that the phone has exceeded my expectations in every way! No issues at all.
Going from the Blackberry Curve 8330 to the Droid X is like upgrading from an analog 28800bps modem to Broadband.
Also, since I was eligible for an upgrade I got the phone for $149 PLUS got a free month of voice for $39.99. So, the phone was only $110 for me. 🙂
I ordered a case, screen protectors and a car charger from Amazon and I am set.
Do not hesitate if you have a BB Curve to get the Droid X!
