Okay, so I have had the Droid X almost a week and wondering if I made a mistake!!! I know the Droid is wonderful...and all that...but in some ways my Curve was better!! Does anyone have any suggestions to help with the transition? I miss my BB home screen and main menu, I hate that there are no smiley's when you text on the X...unless you download an interface...I don't get all the different home screens on the X. I also miss my keyboard...but to be honest I am learning to adjust with the help of Swype.
I have always felt so happy when I have gotten new phones in the past and I am just not feeling it this time. Everyone says give it time, but I guess I need suggestions...too bad there is not some sort of a conversion chart...haha...
Any help much appreciated....

Have you checked out the on-line manual? If you go to the Motorola site and then its Droid X site, you can find it there. Yes, there is a learning curve. For some, it may be a few days. For some a few weeks. And, unfortunately, for some, forever. I think that as you use the Droid X, you'll get to like it more and more.

We have a large amount of old BB users that switched to the Droid X and havent looked back, of course not everything is for everybody but IMO a BB would even touch the Droid X, more power, customizing and feature that BB.
You can download for free from here..

Take some time to get to know your Droid X. It's a marvelous piece of machinery. Blackberry's are great email and text tools...thats about it. The Android operating system is miles ahead in all other areas. (That's my personal opinion). The internet is superb and fast on Android. Blackberry's are still in the dark ages, for the most part, with the internet. Customization is nearly unlimited with Android and it's a lot more versatile overall. Read the online manuals, they will give you a lot of tips on how to use Android in a way that works for you.
