Blank Phone Screen when Receiving income calls

Recently I've had the following happen with my Droid X.

 

I will be receiving an incoming call.  The phone will vibrate but does not ring and does not show the incoming call on the screen.  When I select the home button, the Unlock button shows, not the Answer Button.  So I can't answer the call.  It will finally stop vibrating and I will get a voicemail a few seconds later.

 

This has happened several times.  Any suggestions?

I've had this happen before, whenever it occurs I just do a battery pull and it doesn't happen again for a couple weeks or so.  

 

Now if you have apps causing this it's a whole different story.  Did  you notice this happening after you installed a particular app?  If so uninstall it and see if it fixes the problem.  Some apps written for different Android versions cause all sorts of problems.
