Bluetooth Headset will NOT stay connected

Hi folks, I've got a Jabra BT2070 that suddenly will not stay connected to my Moto Droid.

I've had the BT for about 3 months and it was working just fine until 3 days ago, now if I am even able to get the headset and Droid to connect that connection lasts about 30 seconds max.  The headset pairs fine with my Mac and with my wife's Blackberry and it pairs with the Droid but will not connect.

I even bought a new BT yesterday thinking that maybe it was the headset (before trying my Mac) but had "half" the problem - that Motorola BT would pair, connect and stay connected but I received no audio through the ear speaker though the mic worked fine.

Here's what I've tried with the Jabra (please remember that this was working fine until 3 days ago):

- Delete the device from the Droid

- Re-pair the device to the Droid

- Through the options menu on the device, manually attempt to connect the device to the Droid, it tries for 30 seconds and times out

I've done this process several times.  Powered both off over night and tried this morning again, the Jabra actually connected for about 30 seconds and then the connection was lost and I've not been able to get the device to reconnect, though it stays paired and is still recognized by the Droid.

I've ruled out the headset being faulty and interference issues by connecting to my Mac and wife's Blackberry (as described above) and having the headset work just fine.

This is my last step before I do a hard reset of the device.

Any thoughts or known issues?

It appears that it may have been the update to WiFi Analyzer from and Android Market.

Will test today and report back later.

Ok, so it is not an application.  It is something in my vehicle that is causing interference and problems with the Bluetooth on my Droid.  I have no idea how to check from here as I don't have any way to test what signals are being transmitted.

Everything was working fine until I got in my vehicle and then it all went down hill with the Bluetooth on the Droid.

Hmmmmmmmmm

Thoughts?

Turn off everything and crank the engine and see what happens.  If it happens then, it's something such the ignition or "fly by wire" controls, etc.  Then, start turning on other equipment until you identify what it is.
