I have the Droid X and I want to transfer pictures to my wife's phone via bluetooth, but it will not send to her phone. She has the LG Octane. They pair ok, but when I try to transfer pictures to her phone, it gives me the "connection failure" message. It says, "The file was not sent to "LG VN530." Failure reason: Connection failure. However, she is able to send files to my phone with success. I've looked through the bluetooth settings on both phones and not able to find the reason for the failure. Hope someone has an answer for me, thanks!

I have learned that some devices only allows transfer of specific type of files also due to the LG isn't a smart device the device will also have a file size restrictions. Try sending a image of small size, perferrably only a few KB and see if it transfers, if so the size restriction is you issue.
Try Bluetooth File Transfer from https://market.android.com/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp&feature=search_result , some times this helps.

@ramj.: it could be the the file that the picture is on is to big for you Wifes phone an it cant handle it. If you take a smaller picture in file size it may work you just have to play with it a little an make ajustments. Hope you have good luck with it. Ra
