Bluetooth problems after GB update

I have been a happy Droid X owner since December without any Bluetooth issues, but since the update to GB a couple of weeks ago I am having one particular Bluetooth issue that is driving me nuts.
If I attempt to make a call on any one of my 3 different Bluetooth enabled in-dash car stereo systems, I end up having to try and call 2 or more times in order for the phone to dial and connect. This occurs if I enter the number directly on the Bluetooth device in the dash, or recalling a stored number, either from the phonebook, speed dial or recent call list.
The phone stills transfers the phonebook, call list, etc just fine. I just cannot make a call without trying 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 times. When it finally connects, it works just fine. Everything worked fine for months until the GB update. This happens on the 3 different Bluetooth systems that I routinely use.
I have tried doing a re-pair process without any change in behavior.
Can I go back to the old version of Android?
I poked around on the forums and don't know if doing a 'master reset' would help or not. I don't have many additional apps loaded (Battery Watcher, ColorNote, GasBuddy, GPS Status, Handcent and Super Flashlight).
Thanks!

"3 different", are they independent of each other/different phones? same earpiece for all three?
gb affected a lot of things that folks were used to. i've got a phantom pop3 account that doesn't show-up in my accounts but sends/receives fine.
remove, re-pair all connections.
i'm not willing to do the reset either and need to re-enter everything and maybe still not gt the account to show up.

By '3 different' I mean I have 3 vehicles that each have a in-dash stereo/bluetooth hands-free setup (i.e. build-in nav/dvd/sat radio/bluetooth/etc) that I use with my Droid X (I drive differnet vehicles on differnt days depending on what I'm doing). I don't use a headset/earpiece, the bluetooth goes thru the vehicle mounted mic andstereo system speakers.
Each vehicle(s) bluetooth worked correctly since I bought my Droid X in December. However with the upgrade to GB, I have to make a call 2 or 3 or 4 times before I can get the call to connect. This happens in each vehicle, so the issue is with GB on my Droid X.
I removed and re-paired several times on each unit with no change in behaviour. Wish I could go back to android 2.3.2

I would do a factory reset. That clears up a lot of errors like this.

I cleared the system cache as found on other posts, but the problem trying to make a call via bluetooth is still there.
Guess I'll have to try the system reset next.

Great thanks to all community memebers responding here. Stevepsd, if your reset didn't resolve this, I can help. Please send me a personal message through this forum. Include your name, your mobile number and a good time to call. Thanks!
