I've created some events on the phone calendar but these events are not syncing to Google calendar.
When I add an event on the phone, I choose my gmail account calendar.
In the calendar menu, under Calendars, Google (my email) and Google (US holidays) are checked.
I've gone to Accounts and Sync and manually synced my Google items. But these events are not showing up in Google.
Thanks.

Had the same problem pop up after using the phone for a couple of weeks. What i ended up doing was deleting the Google account and setting it back up again and that solved the problem. Android seems to be a rather quirky operating system. I've had the phone to forget settings and alarm notifications work one minute not the next. I had hoped the Gingerbread update would address some of these issues, which from what I've read have been around for some time, but it did not. Maybe the next update will.

OK, 18 hours later, the events from the phone showed up on Google Calendar on web. So yes, there appears to be something quirky going on. Frustrating.

I had the same problem and found a solution. Here are the steps I took:
1.Goto the settings page under the apps list
2.scroll down to "accounts" and open it up.
3.click on your google account link
4.It will now show a list of items to sync (Contacts, Gmail, Calander), for some reason the sync calander was not checked. As soon as I checked it, it resynced. I refreshed the calander on my PC and all the apointments were there.
Good luck
