Wife and daughter just got there new Droid X. Pretty big jump from a dumb phone. I have Omnia 2. Seams like most all brands of smart phones have had there share of problems, my omnia 2 and looks like the Droid X has some to. Won't get it till 2.2 comes out to fix the voice recognition problem. Never figured out why a MFG would release a phone with no voice recognition with the Bluetooth. Pretty dumb.
With the purchase of the two new Droids I;ve noticed that both phones call quality isn't what I think it should be. I can talk to any one else on my Om 2 and the calls are great, but when I talk to wife or daughter they sound like there sort of talking out of tin can at times, not the best. Any one else with that problem.?

I totally agree. We are having the same problem. We have had the Droid X for a few days and friends state calls are muffled when they talk to us. I had the LG Dare and calls were great. Not too impressed at the moment. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the issue or at least a resolution.

I have had my X for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems with the sound quality. Friends say I sound like I'm on a corded phone. Just dumb luck, I guess, but you might want to talk to Verizon about the sound. Obviously there are X's with great sound.

We are researching to resolve the sound quality on the Motorola Droid X. Thank you for your patience.
