Every time I call and check my voicemail from my Droid, I get a text message from 90080002021 with a bunch of numbers and letters in it within a few seconds of ending the call. Anyone else experiencing this?
Are you using Chomp or Handcent? Those SMS apps dont filter out system SMS messages like the native one does.
No I haven't installed either of those apps or anyting else related to messaging
If you have no activated Visual Voicemail, or do not plan to use it... you'll have to call customer service to take the option off your account (I was unable to find the option through My Verizon online). You won't be charged the 2.99 monthly fee unless you have activated it through your phone ... but you will keep getting those text messages until you call them.
My Droid does this when I have a new voicemail. The bad thing is, I do not receive any other notification at the top of the screen. Does anyone know how to turn on the notifier at the top of the screen?
