Calling landline shows my name on caller id.

Hello,

When calling a landline from my droid, my name and number show up on the caller id. If other family members call, it will say "Cell Phone CA XXX-XXXX" I don't have my name programmed into the landline phone, so that's not the issue. I called Verizon and they said since the phone was ported from Nextel, over 10 years ago, I would have to request them to remove my name. But I have my sisters phone on my account, hers was also ported at the same time, but her name doesn't show up on the caller id.

This thread says to email verizon customer service, is that what I should do?

My phone in my home area comes up with my name, and it has since I have been a vzw customer for the last 12 years, but if I call long distance it comes up just my phone number and the town where my prefix came from.
