I have had the Samsung Charge since May, 2011. I have tried to use the camcorder feature and when I tap the red button to start recording I get "WARNING: Recording failed." Then I have to tap OK.
Is anyone else having this issue and is there a solution?
OR...what am I doing wrong?
Thank you!

Have you taken any steps to try to remedy the situation? Soft reset? Hard reset? Clearing date from the camera app?
Can you take still pictures with the camera?
Let us know...thanks.

mmm75165,
This is probably to simple to be a fix but it's so easy you might try it if you haven't done it already.
Go back to your Camcorder. At the left end of the screen touch the check mark (next to the word Verizon) so the various options will come out. Press the "GEAR." Then press the "Open End Wrench" and go to screen 2/2 and press Reset. This will reset ONLY the Camcorder features back to their original factory defaults.
It's the only thing I can think of so I hope it helps you.

Thank you to the community for all your responses.
That's very upsetting having Camcorder issues. We don't want you to miss out on this great feature. If you have done a hard reset on the Samsung Charge. You have cleared the data by going Menu>Settings>All>Camera>Clear data It may be a device issue. Are you using the stock Video Camera? Please Send me a PM and we will further troubleshoot this issue.
Thank you
