I recently have begun getting this error when trying to open the camera app.
I have done a factory reset and nothing seems to solve it. The app will open but has a black screen and will not do anything.
Any ideas?

I'm very sorry to hear about the camera issue. Let's see what we can do to get this fixed! Was the device exposed to physical or liquid damage?
Please power down the device remove the battery and SD card reinsert and retest.
Does the camera application work after it reboots?
