Camera issues

Before the gingerbread update I had no problems with exposure of my camera.
After however, when I am in even the slightest of low light (not in direct light) and only when the flash comes on, theres a white grainy film over the entire picture.
Ive let it completely focus with the flash, not let it focus, ive tried everything! Cleaned (with my dslr cameras lint free cloth) the lens and the flash.
My husband has the exact same phone and did the update as well, weve gone through and matched every setting to the same as his, cleared cache, took the battery out for a minute, even reset the phone to factory defaults. It still looks horrible! Help!

Can't really be of any help to you.  Sorry.  But I've noticed with mine that sometimes when the flash goes off it's not in sync with the camera.  Strange.
