Can I get the contract NOW, and the Droid X the 15th??

Soooo I have a question.  I currently have a contract with a plan all on my own, and have decided this is a COLOSSAL waste of money.  So I'm going to put my family on my plan.  My brother  is younger and coming home from summer plans tomorrow SPECIFICALLY so we can all go on the same contract.  My current contract expires in October of 2010.

 

We've all got to be together to go on the same contract, but he can't come down here the 15th to get the new contract.  Can I get the new contract on Wednesday, and then upgrade my phone to the Droid X on the 15th?

Hi.  I understand that you have questions about getting a new phone and I can certainly answer them for you.   Is the account in your name?   I am asking that because if you are the account owner or the account manager  on this account, you can upgrade and get a new contract when you are eligible.  You do not need anyone with you to do so.
