Can I import my e-mail contacts from my laptop to my phone?

I use windows live mail on my laptop. Can I export my contacts to my verizon.net e-mail account on my phone?

Here is one way you can try.
- On your computer, export the contacts to a .csv file. To do this may require you to search your help file on the application in which you keep your contacts. Save the .csv file to your computer and remember its name and location.
- Go to your My Verizon page on the verizonwireless website.
- On the main page, lower right, you should see a link for Backup Assistant. Follow it.
- Then set up Backup Assistant on your phone. Go to Apps > Backup assistant and press Backup Now.
- Go back to the verizonwireless website, Backup Assistant, and click the link for "Import Contacts". A window will open asking for the .csv file. Follow the prompts to load the contacts into Backup Assistant.
- Do a sync from your phone using Backup Assistant; this should load your contacts into the phone.
