I was getting all my E-mail from gmail.com and all of a sudden I can not get them anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what setting need checked out or changed to get gmail again?

Color me NEW at this; where do I find auto-sync?

Press the menu button > Settings > Accounts & Sync

You might have to make some adjustments if this is different on the Droid 2

Just to verify, you don't have auto-sync turned off?

Try going to settings > applications > manage applications > all tab > scroll down to the gmail app > select it > press the clear data and clear cache button (if it is white). Then press the force stop button.

Go back to your homescreen and open the gmail app. Force a refresh (it might ask you to do so). Once you have the application synced again, you will probably have to setup your notification preferences and signature.

Hope this helps.
