I don't have it either,as I am still under warranty I don't wish to root the phone just to get the update.

You do not need to root the phone to apply the update. I posted a link to the instructions on how I did it.

You should be happy you don't have the Verizon's update yet.:smileymad:

There have been a variety of issues related to the Gingerbread update which is why Verizon has delayed the rollout.  If you check some of the threads here you should see the issues reported.

While it seems like the rollout has been delayed by Verizon, there's been no official word on what's going on. Verizon has been silent on the whole issue - noone has replied here or on their twitter feed either confirming or denying that the rollout has been stopped, delayed or is ongoing.

There have been many (angry) posts, asking Verizon what the deal is. The only thing I can think of is they don't want to admit they let a buggy update out, especially after the release was originally delayed "to fix some last minute bugs".

Not to mention... the link you posted is for a DROID 2 GLOBAL and the DROID R2D2... It says NOTHING about the Incredible.

Count your lucky stars you did NOT get this buggy update! Urghhh, nothing but trouble with my phone since it was received OTA.  :smileymad:
