My company has it's own email server and I could download email fine with my blacberry storm, but my droid inc does not seem to see the email server unless i'm on our company wifi. I don't believe this is a config issue on the phone, there is not that much to configure. Has anyone had similar issues? I can download from my gmail account just fine.
i'm already temporarliy routing this email account through a secondary gmail account (i already use gmail as a primary personal account, the acccount in question is a corporate account). but that is not optimal, to be routing corporate informatinon through a free, 3rd party service with a limited privacy statement. my blackberry downloaded email directly from our email server...now THAT was simple.
