I am running Android 2.3.4 on a Droid 2. For the past few days I am unable to save change to the default browser's search settings. When I click "Save," I receive the message "The page at 'http://www.google.com' says: Sorry, we failed to save your settings. Try again later." This has been going on for a few days, prior to this I never had a single issue. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to correct it?

This is evidently a change forced on US users only by Google. They have removed the ability to turn SafeSearch off with an image search, and are saying that to get the same results, you need to be very specific. So why only the US?

However, there is a workaround for now. Simply go to Google UK which is:
and all the options to adjust search filters are still there whether you are signed in or not. Not sure why they think only US users need a nanny....
