Are you by chance on an Alltel plan?? When I do a hard reset, all my setting that come via OTA are wrong and have to be manually corrected and NO ONE at VZW especially stores have a clue on what needs to be corrected.
Either way, if you want to see if the settings are correct, send me a PM and I will send you detailed instructions on how to look, (not correct, at least yet) the settings for the network

Sorry for all the troubles you've experienced with your DROID Incredible. I've researched the device and found the issue you've explained about the phone continually power cycling itself is known, and has been reported back to HTC. They were unable to duplicate the issue on handsets they tested, and are asking that we obtain additional details about the device(s) that are having the problem, so they can look for similarities and work towards resolving the matter.
Please PM me with your wireless number, an alternate contact number where you can be reached for troubleshooting (not your wireless number) and a good time to call you. I'll be happy to reach out to you directly to get the needed information and ensure it is sent to the manufacturer for review.
Thanks for your post and we look forward to a fix for this concern.

Had the same issue with my HTC Incredible. Constant random reboots and could not connect to the mobile network. Have called Tech Support about 3 time for the same issue and they were somehow able to get the phone to connect to the mobile network. Every since they did the software update to the phone around 2 -3 months ago I have had nothing but problems with the phone. From constant random reboots that could go on up to an half hour to unable to connect to the mobile network. There are obvious problems with the phone that either the Mfg or Verizon does not want to address. I have had the phone about a year and a half and did not encounter these issue until about 3 months ago. Phone is no longer under warranty so my only option is to purchase a new phone.
The whole issue with the phone and constant tech support help has been very frustrating.
