Cannot hear caller or person I call

Give these solutions a try...

1.  Restart phone..

2.  Try pressing volume up button when on call and see what happens.

3.  Also try turning on Speakerphone to see if you have any luck.

Now I do know that there is a bug that usually happens after updating to 2.2 because of the 2.1 settings remaining on system after upgrade, if the options above doesnt help you may have to hard reset because this has been the only reported solution for this issue.  Use these options posted here: http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-X-by-Motorola/Minimize-Droid-X-Issues-After-Froyo-Update/td-p/2965...

I have a Droid X and keep having that happen to me. Everytime it happens to me, I turn it off and turn it back on and it works again. idk how long it will last but it works.

This has been happening more often than not on my Droid X phone. I am having the do a soft reset everyday sometime 2 or 3 times a day. This is very very annoying.
