My default gmail account went haywire, so I had to delete it and create a new one. I've added it on my phone and even set it to be the one that opens, but I keep getting the error that I need to log in to the original account. I can't get to the market, either. Is there a way to change the default gmail account without having to do a reset? I hate to re-download all of my apps and sounds.

A factory reset is the only way to change the default Google account assigned to the phone. The newest version of the Android Market (3.0.27) will allow you access to multiple Google accounts and your application history associated with each account.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
