Looking to get a new phone this month. I went to a Verizon Store and was told that the Droid X is being phased out for a Droid X2 and possibly a Droid Bionic (when is unknown). So now I'm looking for advise.... Droid phones that are available or HTC Thunderbolt? Wow, decisions on phones are worse than buying a new truck.
Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

i just got a thunderbolt and let my 3 day window to return it (without paying the $35 restock fee) expire. IT'S A KEEPER!!!!! i upgraded from an htc incredible (which they also recently phased out). this thing is a BEAST!!!! the bionic is intriguing and i thought about waiting so i can compare them. however, since verizon never has any idea when they will ACTUALLY release a device, i went ahead and got the tbolt. i didn't want to end up waiting until june or something.
