I have my Samsung Charge set up to check two email addresses: my gmail account and an sbcglobal (which I check only through Yahoo on my home computer) account. I've had the phone since early October, and this problem never occurred in the early days; however, it is now - almost - constantly asking for a password update on the sbcglobal account. It has never asked for an update on the gmail account. Does anyone know what might be causing this, and/or if there is some setting change I can make to get rid of this annoyance? Sometimes the update password message comes on when I'm in the process of reading email. Is it perhaps tied to the arrival of new email?
