Contacts - Number of Contacts and Performance

Hi,

First, I love my Droid X.  I am a mobile developer (http://cexi.me) and I develop for both iPhone and Android.  I think the Droid X is a market mover.

I have a concern over address book performance.  I'm pretty sure it is the number of contacts in my address book - over 650 but sometimes I suspect that it is because it might be sharing the same database with any social contacts as well.  I have 3,800 followers in Twitter and 350 contacts in FB. 

Whatever the case is, there are huge delays in pulling up a contact and then dialing them.  Please fix.

I recall that my BBY had the same challenge a while back - but having dropped my BBY World only last month, it handled them ok.  My iPhone - wihch has the same contacts performs equally as well as the BBY did.

Try removing the sync for Facebook on the phone by unchecking facebook sync. Sometimes a application running can cause delays on phone.
