My home page, which displays time, location, etc, reports I'm in Fort Worth, TX... not suburban NJ.
i've looked for ways to correct this (GPS settings), but nothing has fixed it.
documentation from VZW is useless.
any ideas to get me back east??
thanks

I'm having a similar issue.
I live in Brooklyn (Brighton Beach). Before the end of March my phone would display Brooklyn (sometimes even Brighton Beach (!!) even though it's not a borough. That's just how precise the the weather widget was). At that time, I had my VZW Location and GPS off, only had Google Location and either Wi-Fi or 3G on. Sometimes it also caught a signal from a couple of NJ's nearest towns such as Atlantic Highlands and Monmouth (not so precise, lol) but recently it just says New York regardles which borough I am in! That's very annoying. Turnning on VZW Location and GPS doesn't help.*228 option 2 doesn't help either.

I just spoke to an HTC rep who told me that Google has been updating their maps and servers for over a month now and HTC has no approximate date when Google would be done. Since it's a Google phone Google is the only company responsible for providing the weather data on Android phones. The rep said that whenever Google finishes with their updates the weather widget will fix on its own.
