I've been toying with the dlna feature between my computer and D2. I have had some success with playback control of the pc from the phone, but no success controlling playback on the phone from the pc. And the success I do have is usually brief as the connection is lost.
Apparently my network only recognizes the phone as a storage device, not as a media playback device when using dlna.
Why can't the D2 be recognized by the networkas a playback device when using the dlna app?

Not sure if this helps it not, but I googled D2 dlna and found this:

Sounds too like it may be an issue with your network, maybe your connection isn't solid.
