You are omitting the HTC Droid Incredible which is a really great phone. My second choice would be the Droid X. However, my suggestion is that if you have a Verizon store near you, or any store that sells cell phones, such as Best Buy, that you go and play with each one.

I assume the original poster wants a phone that will remain functional, so it's best that they omitted the Incredible. HTC is known for poor build quality and poor customer service--I'd urge the poster to avoid HTC phones under any circumstances. It's a bad buy, unless you like getting refurbs and being toyed with by HTC's tech support.
I'd second the suggestion to play with the phones in the store, though. If the phone doesn't feel "natural" in your hands, its other advantages aren't going to matter.
I've had the Droid 2 since September, and I've been happy with it. It's a well-built device, and Motorola takes customer feedback seriously.
The Droid X is essentially a larger Droid 2, with HDMI, 720p video and no keyboard. If you're not going to use a keyboard and don't mind the larger form factor, the X isn't a bad choice.
Personally, I don't see what's so special about the Samsung Fascinate. It had a few bugs at launch--like the GPS bug--that were known ahead of time and not addressed. When I chose my phone, that factored into my decision: I don't feel confident that a company will provide adequate support for their phone if they know its other models have a major bug, and yet release the same model on another carrier without first addressing that bug.

I decided not to go with the fascinate because of the bing integration, which isn't easy to remove (you have to do things that verizon doesn't support to get google back as the default search), which led me to decide on the 2.
I really didn't consider the incredible at all. The only HTC that anyone in my family has owned was "challenging" to deal with, and that experience left a bad taste in my mouth for HTC.
Just my reasons. You may have very different considerations.
