I have the DROID. Several times throughout a conversation, the caller I am speaking with says that he hears a high pitched squeal or squeak. My phone makes the tone and then stops. I've had several people tell me this.
One says it's very much like the sound that a smoke detector makes when it has a low battery.
I never hear the tone at all.
Does anyone know about this problem and how to fix? Thanks very much.
I have had the same experience - seems that the problem is intermittent - but when it occurs it's always when I place the call - when the party being called answers they hear the squeal, I do not. Not sure what the cause is but would appreciate feedback.
