this has been happening the last few days... I see lots of people have gotten kickback, laidback & soundback showing up on their phones. Since I first saw the installed, I am getting continuous notifications on my phone that memory & storage are low. I have cleaned cache, deleted old text msgs & everything I can think of to solve this. While trying to clean up the phone, I found that I have over 2,000 emails in the "trash" folder!! I just figured they were deleted & not stored up like that... #1 does anyone know how to empty the trash folder? #2 and really most important is how can I fix this!! I got a notification that a text msg was blocked & who knows what else is happening. My email is not getting refreshed anymore either. PLEASE help

I am right there with you! My DROID just started doing the same exact things as you described! I sent an e-mail to Support/Contact Us so maybe we'll get a response from them - you didn't do anything wrong nor did your phone. I am betting it has something to do with their network or that the phone needs an update. Keeping my fingers crossed that this gets resolved ASAP because my phone is not just a phone; it's my organizer and communications center as well.

Like you I use my phone for more then making calls. My phone helps me stay organized so I definitely understand your frustration.
After researching your issue I did not find this to be a known issue with the Motorola Droid. How long have you had this issue? If you have already tried clearing the cache and deleting old text message and email and are still getting the memory full message, I recommend you doing a master reset on the device. This will wipe you device clean and back to the manufacturer settings. You should back up your phone before this because it will erased all the data on your phone. Click here for instructions on how to perform a master reset.
If you are still getting a memory full message after the master reset, please let us know and we'll be more then happy to assist you.
