If I own an INC and I pay for the 15 dollar data plan do I still have the option on Verizon's website to "block data?" I want to be able to keep it blocked and only unblock when I travel. That way I save the Data usage for when I really need it.
Any ideas out there?
Thank you

1) Add the HTC widget through plus sign or add to home
2) long press on the power button to open the power options and press mobile network
3)go into settings > wireless & networks > scroll to the bottom > mobile network
You might have to adjust slightly for menu name changes in 2.2 OS on your phone, but the basics should be the same.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

You will not be able to add a data block, while having a data plan you are paying for. You also will not be able to add the data block feature online at My Verizon. In order to add a data block, it requires the data plan feature to be removed. Now you can have a data plan, and add usage control to put a time restriction on the device. The time restriction allows you to:
- Stops all data throughput, including messaging and application downloads.
- Stops all data throughput with the exception of Family Locator, VZ Navigator, Backup Assistant. Picture and Video Messaging will be supported to and from Trusted Numbers.
- The usage control feature is $4.99 monthly per line. You can sign in online to add and manage the usage control at this link (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/index.html?tab=myaccount)
