Data Roaming on Droid D2G will not stay on

I recently traveled out of the country and disabled data and data roaming while I was there to avoid the excessive data fees.

Since I returned, the data roaming will not stay on. Every time I enter an "extended network" area I get a notification that data roaming is off.

How do I turn it back on for good??
