About three weeks ago audio downloads of podcasts I subscribe to began to skip and have annoying digital artifacts. Prior to this the audio quality was excellent. Some are worse than others, but all downloads have problems.
Don't think it's an issue involving the source of the downloads since it's happening with more that one source.
Also, the degradation is present on files downloaded using both wifi and broadband.
The issues occur when playing the files using multiple apps on my phone.
Anyone with similar problems? Any suggestions?
Yes I have experienced this but it depended on what other applications I was using... The skipping and sound quality is usually affected because another applications is using to much of the systems resources.
I know some are against Task Killers but try Advance Task Killer and close as many apps as possible before playing stream and see if this resolves your issue..
Thanks for the note.
Other applications consuming resources might be factor and I'll check it, but I should mention streaming audo is not affected. Pandora, Tune-In, etc. deliver audio that sounds fine.
The problem is only being experienced with downloaded audio.
