Question: How can I delete the obsolete second Call Mobile entry?
The Contacts entry for my name shows two Call Mobile entries. The first Call Mobile is correct. The second mobile number is obsolete and was used in an account was cancelled a year ago. The Edit Contacts screen shows Google Contact from earlstroup@gmail.com. The information displayed is correct. It shows only one mobile number and it is the correct number. Yet when I search for contacts for my name the display shows: my name followed by Call Home, Call Mobile with current number; Call Mobile with the obsolete number, Email work, and View home address.
I used Verizon Wireless Backup Assistant Application to transfer the original contract list to the Droid X.
Today I updated the CSV file, used Backup Assistant and synchronized Backup Assistant with the Droid. This did not correct the problem.
