Had a question regarding the Droid and the Device ID. With the update to 2.2, the Droid now supports my company exchange policies, however, there is an issue IT is saying the device does not conform to ActiveSync device reporting standards. The device ID morphs over time and therefore does not work with their current device filtering system. Apparantely it cannot report to Exchange using one unique ID. Has anyone else heard of this with this device? I was so happy about 2.2 and the updates to Exchange support but this really threw me off.
