Strange thing I found on my Droid 2 Global with disappearing icons after hitting the home button from the Browser app. I notice this seem to start happening after the Android update just recently. I even tried a hard reset on the device, but the no dice. My wife thought I was crazy, so I performed the same exact steps on her Droid 2 Global (which we purchased at the same time). Low and behold, I made it happen on her device as well. I want to know if anyone has seen this or can recreate it. If not, then I must be cursed 😃
1) Move the Browser icon to a different page other than the Home "House" page of the phone (like one page left, or one page right of the main home "House" page)
2) Open the Browser app.
3) Open the keyboard so it works sideways now.
4) Hit the Home "House" button.
5) The icons disappear on me...until I slide my finger across and they automagically appear again.
I also noticed if I do this and when the icons disappear, I can hold my finger down on the screen and an icon from the House page will appear and I can move it across the "no icon" page. I've also noticed that if the Browser app is on the Home "house" page of the phone, it has no problems. I've deleted the shortcut to the Browser app and tried to make a new one, but the same problem persists.
So, this issue isn't a show stopper, just annoying for me. Anyone else test or have seen this before?
