Why doesn't the Disney Mobile magic app work with the Droid X. It is crazy. I am going in a couple of months and I figured that of all phones it would be compatible with this one.

This is a question you should be posing to the developers of the app, don't you think?
The program doesn't work with the Droid X because it was not written to work with it. The app developers are the people you need to question about this. It's like getting mad at Ford because Goodyear doesn't make a certain type of tire to fit your car.
A solution would be to use m.disneyworld.com from your phone, it will provide all the same information and not cost you $9.99 which the app will. There are also a couple of wait time apps available on the marketplace for free. Just search Disney.
