Does Verizon cutt off support for Rooted Droids?

I was curious about this.  I am a Linux user so having a Linux phone wouldn't seem right without a terminal.  I imagine there are issues with this so I was wondering if you Root your phone would it no longer be covered under warranties or whatever or would security be the only thing not warrantied?  Also I have wondered if Rooting can be undone once done?  I imagine it can since it is Linux and you can do just about anything you want but it was a question I have.

Supidmike did you do this yet?  I like the idea but it makes me nervous if they won't cover you.
