Sign into your Gmail account on any computer, click on the red Gmail in the upper left corner to bring down the menu, and select Contacts to view.
I'm not sure what you mean by download contacts? Do you mean to save as a file?

Yes. I was thinking to download them as an excel file.

Thank You! I did go into Gmail and found my contacts. Not all contacts are in Gmail. Is there anything I need to do within Gmail or my Droid to make sure all the names are in my Gmail contacts? Thanks again for your help.

In your Comtacts/People App there should be an option under the menu to export the contact to the SD card. You can then transfer the VCF file to your computer and from there import the contacts into your gmail account.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
