I just got my new phone last night, and I have downloaded 3 ringtones and when I get the text message I save it as audio and it says its saved successfully. I go to the music app and 2 of them are showing up but not the 3rd one. When I try to play them back I get a msg that says playback license is not valid. Any help??
I'm assuming you downloaded them from the Verizon store, yeah? I made the same mistake (probably because it would make sense to do so, and they don't bother telling you otherwise). Those won't work. If you write them an e-mail, they will credit you for the money you threw away.
There are a couple of things you can do. There is a correct way to download ringtones through Verizon, but I don't have my phone with me at the moment, so I'm not sure what the thing is called. Maybe a Verizon guy can respond to this with the correct app; V-Cast, or something similar, I think (and maybe they can also tell you why this problem hasn't been fixed yet, since they've known about it forever! They don't even tell you at checkout that these things aren't going to work, even though it does tell you at checkout which phone they're being sent to, and they know perfectly well they aren't going to work.)
The second thing you can do is get the Ringlert app (it's free), and see if you can get what you're looking for from them.

I recommend downloading V Cast Tones from the Android Market. Here are the steps to complete the download:
| 1. | Select the Marketplaceicon on the device. |
| 2. | Once Marketplace is opened, select the Verizontab. |
| 3. | Select the V CAST Tones application. |
| 4. | Select Install. Result: The application will download from the Marketplace. |
| 5. | Once installed, launch the application from the home screen of the device. |
