Have a Droid 2 for 6 months now, BLuetooth has been working OK. Tried to pair it with PC and now BLuetooth on the phone is permanently off. Everytime I try to turn it on it indicates "turning Bluetooth on ..." hesitates for 10 seconds or so and then returns to the OFF state. Have performed a soft reset. Have removed battery for 2 minutes and restarted. Have manually stopped services (applications) for Bluetooth and cleared data. Nothing seems to work. Anything else I should try before returning equipment to VZW for a replacement?

The only other things to try would be booting to safe mode, and the next step is a restore factory defaults.
After those it's time to call to verizon.

Are you trying to turn it on using the bluetooth widget, or are you going into Setting>Wireless & networks, and trying to turn it on using the Bluetooth line in Settings. If you are trying to use the widget, I suggest you delete that widget and then reinstall it. That might work. Sometimes these widgets get messed up.
