Droid 2 Generating False Restricted Number

Each Sunday night, my wife's Droid 2 and my daughter's Droid 2 will begin generating a false restricted number code that causes anyone with Anonymous Call Rejection on their land line to not be able to have the call go through.  The cell number shows up fine otherwise.

VZW's fix is to remove the caller ID features from the cell phones and then have me do a battery pull and a re-program.  That works until the next Sunday.

This has been occuring for some weeks and they have no resolution.  They finally took a ticket on it today, but I wanted to reach out to see if others have had this same problem.  I have a blackberry and a basic phone as well on our plan, and neither of these exhibit the same problem - only the Droids.

This occurs on multiple phone numbers where the landline has subscribed to ACR, not just one, so I do not think it is necessary a Verizon local issue.

Any thoughts?

Hi dopravda, sorry to hear about the issue with your lines calling landlines with the ACR feature. I have not heard of this before and is very unusual.  I'm glad to hear a trouble ticket was submitted to our network engineers. Has the trouble ticket provided a resolution yet?
