My Droid 2 was dropped in water and has worked fine after drying out for 3 days for over a year. Recently (oddly enough it was after the system upgrade) it started acting possessed. It would type things I wasn't typing & freeze & change screens. A factory reset fixed it for a few weeks...til it started acting weird again. I reset it again & seemed to work for a few more weeks. I realized the slider keyboard was causing more issues so I only used the virtual keyboard and it seemed to be ok. I accidentally hit the slider and it's possessed again...but now it turns on but the screen is black...can't do anything. Green light is blinking like it powered on & I have messages but I can't do anything cuz screen is black. I have tried to do another hard re-set but it won't work. Anything else I can do or is the phone fried?!?!
