I have a user with a Droid 2 running Android 2.3.3. This morning Exchange Sync started reporting an error and will no longer receive email from Exchange Server 2007. The error on the device is:
Connection Error:
The following error has prevented a successful connection: Invalid server certificate
Our Exchange server certificate is a wildcard Cert that is issued through Digicert. It was recently renewed and is good through August of 2014. Has anyone else experienced any issues connecting to Exchange using either Digicert Certificates or Wildcard certs? I had the user attempt to install the CA and Intermediate certificates to the Droid, but I am not certain it was successful because it didn't seem to resolve the issue. We also tried turning off the "Validate Certificate" setting in the Exchange Sync settings but the device reports that the host is unknown.
