Droid 2 and Mac

According to the user manual the Droid 2 is supposed to be compatible with a Mac. I've tried connecting the two several times now and each time my Mac says it doesn't recognize the "unknown device". Any ideas on how to get them connected successfully? I want to transfer some of my ITune music over.

Try this! I have provided some steps below to assist you with connecting the Droid 2 with the Mac.
Lock your Droid 2 by pressing the top lock button. Plug the Droid 2 into your Mac via USB. Unlock the Droid X it using the on-screen slider. The phone should beep - if it does not try locking and unlocking again Your Mac will install drivers if necessary Slide down the notification menu and select USB connectionSelect USB Mass Storage You should now be able to load files to the SD card directly from your Mac.
