My husband's Droid 2's display screen is not working. The phone is on, we can feel the vibrations when hitting the menu buttons. We've powered it down and taken the battery out..... several times. No display.
Turn the device off, open the keypad and hold down the Power button and OK key at the same time....
Continue holding down the OK key until the words SAFE MODE display in the lower left corner of the screen. IF the device screen is powered on while booting into Safe Mode then your problem is an application that is causing the display to fail.
IF the screen does not display anything during the boot process call Tech Support at 1-800-922-0204 and ask for Tier 2 Tech so they can assist you with a warranty replacement provided the device has no physical or liquid damage.
