Ok so I am new to the whole android phones, I just got the droid 2 and am having several issues.... I used to have the envy touch and it would tell me what time a message was stored from if I had been sent a msg the night before and my phone was off, the droid 2 seemingly does not do this-didn't know if theres a setting so it does? I also have the settings marked to show if the other person receives the message but do not see where this notification comes at all, plus the texting is more like a chat form in the form of bubbles? Is there anyway to change it to the more "old school" type texting that says simply when a message was sent and received.
Also the contacts when they switched over my contacts my friend becky messaged me and it came under the name rebecca, I have never saved her under Rebecca-I changed it back to becky and it stayed but I have a friend val and a friend valerie and it always links the 2 together. Even when I unlink them....I had to end up using Vals last name to get it to stop doing it. What's going on with my phone?
These options would not be available on the Droid 2 without downloading a text application from the market. There are many text applications to choose from in the market. The contacts will come up as they appear on Facebook, there is no way to change this unless the facebook account is unlinked from the phone. Hope this helps!
