I am having a lot of problems with my Droid 2 just turning off. I can take it out of my pocket or it can be laying around and it is off. The battery is usually atleast 50% charged when this happens. I've done a full reset on the phone and that didn't help. Any others had this prob?? Solutions??
Ashdoggie, thanks for sharing your concerns about your Droid 2. I have seen some reports of this phone power cycling, where it will turn off than turn back on by itself, but this is quite different. Try taking the back cover off the phone. Does the battery seem loose at all? Is there anything covering the battery contacts? There aren't any settings that should cause the phone to turn off and stay off by itself. If this is still occurring, I would recommend having the phone replaced.
