If I had the Droid (or Eris) in my hands tonight, bought from Walmart, the last place I'd be is on this forum.
IF anyone had early-bird sales authorized, it would have been "Verizon" itself, or at least BestBuy!

Actually a number of places are selling early. My local Wal-Mart was - saw someone walk out of the store with one... But since I pre-ordered at BB, I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Is that $188 with a 2 year contract? 1 year contract? before or after the mail in rebate?
